How does it work?

Cryolipolysis® (Fat Freezing) results in cell death. Due to an increased inflammation in the area Cryo will recruit a number of immune cells into the area of freezing, resulting in mediating lysis (death) of fatty cells. As a result this then aids in a gradual slimming of the targeted area within several months.

Where do the fat cells go?

Your body will digests them, like any energy source they are therefore cleared through the lymphatic system.

What happens during treatment?

A cool gel pad will be placed in the area of treatment to help protect the skin. A vacuum will then be attached to the area, which draws in the fat, and as this occurs you will experience a mild cold sensation. The temperature consequently drops to around -7 or -8 degrees Celsius, thus freezing the fat cells. The procedure will last 1 hour, during which time you are able to listen to music, watch a movie or simply have a snooze.

Does it hurt?

There is no pain involved in Fat Freezing, just a slight vacuum pull that you stop feeling after 10 minutes.

How many sessions will I need?
